Training a kid with his mother

Prescription & Referral

To access ABA services, it is required by most insurance carriers to have a formal diagnosis and referral from the Washington State Center of Excellence (COE). If you need assistance finding a COE provider, you can easily check the list online or contact us for guidance. We are here to help and ensure a smooth process. For more information and resources, please refer to the WA Healthcare Authority ABA Resources and WA Healthcare Authority COE List.

Treatment Process

  • Intake Interview: Our treatment begins with a 1–2-hour discussion with your child's primary case manager. This interview helps us understand your family better, enabling us to select the most suitable assessment(s) for your child's needs.
  • Assessment(s) and Treatment Planning: Your child's case manager will schedule a direct assessment after the intake interview. This assessment, tailored to address the discussed needs, can occur either at our clinic or at your home.
  • Initiating Care: Following the assessment, the case manager will create a treatment plan and arrange a review session with you. This ensures that the plan aligns with your family's requirements. Once necessary insurance carriers approve the treatment plan, you can begin receiving ABA services.
